I left earlier than my coworkers and boss for vacation at Christmas, so when I got back I was surprised to see two notes on our freezer and our fridge in the lab, labeling them as what they were. Apparently we were expecting a shipment or two of things that needed to be refrigerated or frozen, so my boss left notes on the appliances to let the folks in receiving know what things belonged where. Since there has been confusion before about which appliance is which, she labeled them as explicitly as she could.
What she didn't do is leave some extra commentary on it, and we still don't know who did. My boss's original note is in green marker; the mystery person left the writing in black pen.
Our freezer really wants to be a fridge so it can hang with fresh veggies and tell Veggie Tales.
I love my workplace.
