Insert Witty Title Here

So, , it's been a little while since I posted, but a lot has happened in a short time (isn't that always the way it goes around finals?). So, in the interest of catching people up, and because I like to, I'm going to list some of the awesome things that have happened since I last posted. If they don't all make sense...well, my only excuse is that I just finished a Genetics test and will proceed to spend the rest of the day working on my SIP, which is due tomorrow, so my brain is not functioning at really high capacity. Plus I haven't finished my morning coffee, which will (hopefully) kick my brain into gear. Here we go!

• I got a package from my mom containing about 20 presents for me to open between when I got it and when I leave for home. It's amazing how much cheerier my day gets when I know I get to open a present. Maybe I should start wrapping mundane things in wrapping paper and open them at random times...then again, maybe not. Oh, and thanks Mom! :)
  
• We got 2 inches of snow on Saturday. Normally this would irritate me, since snow means cold, wet, and not-safe-to-drive, but since the roads were clear and it didn't interfere with my plans for the day, I could really appreciate how beautiful this mountain is with snow covering it. Bad thing: I forgot my camera, so I didn't get any good pictures of the things I saw. Oh well!
• I had a wonderful study date with Abs at Panera on Saturday. Chocolate chip bagels, hazelnut coffee, Christmas music, and a wonderful friend made writing my Special Topics paper a lot more fun.
• I finished the aforementioned paper way ahead of the due date!
• Finals week keeps getting easier and easier. One of my two finals got changed to a take-home final which just has to be turned in by the end of the final time on Monday, meaning I have even more time to pack and clean!!
• My SIP is so close to being done, and I keep getting happier and happier with it...hopefully that trend will keep up!
• Madrigals was a lot of fun, as always.
  
• I totally called that one of my professors was going to assign a lab report due at the final. Called it like, 2 weeks in advance. It's going to be easy too...he just keeps lowering the standards. :)
• I also got an Christmas gift from one of my friends...wooden shoes!! They even have my name burned into them, the year, and who it's from on the bottom of one of them. Plus, they are my size!! I'm so Dutch now, it's not even funny. :)
• I'm done with classes!! Hooray!!

Well, I feel like that's about all that's going on right now...on to SIP, Christmas present shopping (maybe), and perhaps a little bit of TV show watching. And probably a little more coffee.
