You'd think since I'm on Spring Break this week that I would post more. But you'd be wrong...I've been fairly busy this break and haven't had much time to post until now. So, here's a short summary, starting with last Friday:
Friday: Went to classes, finished packing, got really excited about it being break, rode to Augusta with Kaitlin. Ate a delicious dinner at 8 pm (when we finally got to her house) and went to bed.
Saturday: Slept in, hung out with Kaitlin and her cousins at the mall and around town, had another delicious dinner with most of her family (soooo much fun!) and stayed in for the night.
Sunday: Church, lunch, photo shoot in South Carolina. We decided that since we looked pretty good that day we should go take pictures someplace pretty...which happened to be in South Carolina. :) Disclaimer: we were only about 25 minutes or so from the border...all we had to do was drive across the Savannah River and we were there. I discovered upon reviewing the pictures, however, that I am not destined to be a model. Dreams = shattered. After getting back from our photo shoot, we ate a delicious dinner (do you see a theme here?) and watch the movie "Adam", which was really excellent.
Monday: We took Kaitlin's gramma around town...had lunch at Zaxby's, picked up stuff at Wal-mart, etc. After we finished all that, we hung out with one of Kaitlin's close friends, Katie, and mostly walked along the river. We also had a snack of epic proportions at the Boll Weevil...huge, mouth-watering desserts. After all that sugar, we had dinner, and more dessert (I mean, I can't pass up strawberries on pound cake....I just can't) and laid around bemoaning how full we were. :)
Ok, that's it for part one....the next part will cover our road trip and (maybe) contain some pictures. And I'm sure there will be more delicious dinners. ;)
I'm already at home so I didn't have to drive anywhere.
