Drumroll please....

IT WORKED!
According to all the data I have, my last reaction worked (the one that hasn't worked since I started work), which means that I have all the starting materials I need, which means that tomorrow I get to start trying to make my probe! Which, if it goes anything like the rest of this, will take more time than I have left in my internship (gah). :) Oh, and I get to do some biology-type stuff on Monday, which will be a very nice switch from the constant chemistry (no offense to you chemistry types out there).
Not much else to report. I've been playing the video game version of Up, which is almost as much fun as the movie. :) Maybe something exciting will happen this weekend that I can talk about.

  1. Hurray! Biology! By the way, is that a module of a DNA strand your standing next to in your picture?

  3. Luke: It's technically a piece of playground equipment, but I think of it as a strand of DNA. I am playing the role of DNA helicase, attempting to open the strands.
Stef: It is kinda cheesy, but mostly what you do is wander around and pick up lots of coins, earn badges, fight a couple dogs and solve a few fairly simple puzzles. The things Dug says just crack me up! :) It doesn't require much brain power, which is always one of my requirements for games.
