It's Unbelievable

Ladies and gentlemen, I have a big announcement to make.
Today in the lab, I created a substance that is completely undissolvable. It will not dissolve in any solvent, organic or aqueous (water, for example). I haven't found a use for it yet, but I have no doubt that it will soon make its way into the ranks of Teflon, sticky notes, and safety glass as one of those accidental inventions.
No joke though, I don't know what this thing is. I literally spent the entire workday trying to find something, anything it would dissolve in. I tried heating it, combining solvents, stirring it, vibrating it, shaking it, and threatening it (which normally works...usually when I threaten crystals or other substances, they cooperate), with no success. I don't know what I created, but it's magical. :)

  1. And I'm guessing you haven't been able to test its composition because you can't dissolve it? Sounds like a winner.
