Quick Update

Just a few quick notes since I have nothing really big to update:
- I got one reaction to work, and got it to the same point I had previously without issue (yay!). I just have to purify it tomorrow.
- Another reaction = failure. But this one was untried, so it's not necessarily my fault. Still could be, but not necessarily. :)
- Aunt Carol and I went to Leavenworth yesterday, which is a Bavarian-style town about 2.5 hours away from here. It was a lot of fun, and when I get the cord to connect the camera to my computer, I'll post pictures and tell more about it.
- I got my first paycheck on Friday!! And WA has no state income tax! It's such a blessing that I have this job where I have reimbursement for housing, family to stay with, and where I am making more money in one week than I did in 2 at BB&B. Plus, I have consistent hours, and I'm doing something I love to do and that will help with future employment. I mean, how amazing is all of that?!
- I have to drive myself into work for most of the week...Uncle Gary will be on a business trip, so I'm on my own. Oh, and what will I be driving? An old, somewhat beat-up pick-up truck (for the family, it's not Grandpa's old truck, although I have driven that around the lab's campus).
Not much else to report! Maybe something more exciting will happen later on. :)
