Rhinovirus

I almost forgot to mention in my last post the best part of the Seattle trip: I got a cold virus. Yes, you did read that right, the best part was the cold virus I got. Maybe you'd like to see a picture?

That's my cold virus! I found it in a shop on the Seattle waterfront. Isn't it cute? It's from a whole line of stuffed things called Giant Microbes. They have so many different ones! I had a hard time deciding on this one, but he was definitely the cutest. He'll go quite nicely with the brain cell my mom gave me (because, as she points out, what college student couldn't use another brain cell?). :)

  1. Your disease is freakin' adorable. And I think he will get along swimmingly with your neuron. :) Although hopefully Rhinovirus will have the courtesy to avoid infecting Neuron...

  2. Cute, and the best part is that you don't have to worry about accidentally killing it with some form of antibiotic because it's a virus!

  3. And now if you're unhappy with someone, you can give them a virus!

  4. okay that is the most freakin' adorable thing. You must bring him back with you so he can guard our room from other cold viruses. He will claim that he is the only virus able to come into there and scare all the others away...hehe.
